About The Saint Timothy School Jog-a-thon
What is a Jog-a-Thon?
A Jog-a-Thon is one of the easiest, most exciting ways our school can raise money—and a great education for kids! Participants ask friends, relatives, neighbors, and business associates for a flat donation to the school in their child’s name or to pledge a specific amount of money for every lap they jog, walk, or crawl around a running course during a set length of time.
Who can participate?
ANYONE AND EVERYONE! Students, moms, dads, toddlers in strollers, Grandma and Grandpa, friends of STS: all who can get some sponsors and can jog, walk, or crawl. You simply need sponsors.
What do I have to do?
Get sponsors—LOTS of them! Here’s the way to do it:
1. Schedule Zoom calls, FaceTime calls, or phone calls with people who love you and the school and ask them to support this year’s Jogathon. Walk them through the Donate process on the website. (Mass emails work, too. But not as well)
2. Share, post, comment, go live, and tag on social media about the Jogathon. Always include the link for the Jogathon Donate page and tag The Saint Timothy School.
3. Focus on reaching out to grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, fellow parishioners, local officials, neighbors, etc.
Parent Information
The Jog-a-Thon is the only school-wide fundraiser of the year. It retains 90% profit, and without inventory is easy on parents! The funds enrich your child’s education, keep tuition low, and help the school accomplish its mission. Below are the prizes for those helping their school the most!
